Q: Why should I choose a Core Computer?

A: All our PCs are assembled from high quality branded
components sourced from award winning
UK distributors.
Assembly is by qualified technicians. Every component is
covered by a minimum 12 month warranty. Some components
are covered for 3 or even 5 years. Every new system is tested
for a minimum of 24 hours prior to delivery.

Q: I am at work all day. What time can you collect/deliver
my PC at my home?

A: We can arrange collections/deliveries any time 9am to
9pm
, 7 days a week.


Q: What geographical areas do you cover?

A: If you live on the Wirral or in Liverpool, our repair and
upgrade services are available to you. We can deliver new
PCs, Laptops, Components and Software anywhere.

Q: How do I know how much you will charge for my PC repair
or upgrade?

A: Our basic price for collect and return repairs or servicingis £35 plus any components. Upgrades start from £20 plus components. Please call for a free quote.


Q: Do you phone me before carrying out and hardware
replacements?

A: If we find a component needs replacing on your PC, we
will always call you with a price and get your agreement
before we carry out the work.


Q: What happens if you are unable to repair my PC?

A: In the very unlikely event we are unable to repair your PC,
we will return it to you and charge nothing.


Q: Do I have to buy replacement/upgrade components from
Core Computers?

A: No, you can buy your components from anywhere and
we will replace/upgrade as part of our standard service.
We cannot however be responsible for faulty components
bought elsewhere. If a non Core Computers component is
found to be faulty, we will return it so you so that you can
organise a replacement/refund.


Q: Do your prices include delivery?

A: All prices shown on our website or quoted over the phone
include local delivery.


Q: What warranties do you offer?

A: All components supplied by us come with full manufacturer warranties, this depends on each manufacturer and normally
range from 12 months RTB to 3 years on-site.


Q: What do I do if a component supplied by Core Computers
goes wrong?

A: As long as the faulty component is within its manufacturer
warranty, we will collect your PC and replace the component
free of charge.


Q: If you collect my PC, how quickly can I expect it returned?

A: Depending on the service required, PC Service normally
takes approximately 2 working days, and PC Repair and PC
Upgrade normally takes approximately 3 days depending on
component stock/availability. If the service is going to take
longer than agreed, we will call to advise.


Q: Will I loose any data or information from my PC?

A: If your PC has suffered a Hard Disk Drive failure, then we
may not be able to recover data, we will however try.
Assuming your Hard Disk Drive is in working order, we will
remove all data you wish to keep including favourites,
documents, photos, emails, settings etc.. and return
everything to your PC once we have completed the service.
The return of all data is not guaranteed by Core Computers,
so we highly recommend that you back-up all your data before
we collect your PC.


Q: Do you service Apple MAC's or non Windows based PC's?

A: Unfortunately not. We accept PC's (desktop or laptop)
running any Windows operating system, or without an
operating system.


Q: When will I be charged for your service?

A: We will request full payment when we leave your home
or premises, or return your PC and everything is working
and you are happy. New PCs require a minimum £50 deposit
and the balance on or prior to delivery.


Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Credit and Debit cards via email invoice,
Paypal, Bank Transfer, Cash, Cheque (with card), Nochex or
Bank Draft.
